EDIT: I am no longer doing this. If anyone wants to study in Romania then you can contact Cristina Todoran at MSA. This is one of the most professional and successful agencies in Romania. You can find their details off Google.

Good Luck

Hi there,

I'm a British student that's re-sitting a year in my A levels, I'm predicted A's in Sociology and Biology and a B in Chemsitry. The B in Chemistry has left me with no hope for Britain, so I'm now venturing out into other areas of Europe. I would just like to ask your honest opinion of which university in Romania is the best both socially and academically and attracts the greatest amount of British students. I'm also Muslim so I was also wondering if you know if there is any halal foods available.

Any advice would be highly appreciated,
thanks for your time

Salaam

Those grades are fine for romania. With regards to the muslim issue, I honestly think Iasi is the best place for muslims to study. The reason why I say this is because I have studied in other countries in Europe and its been really hard. No mosque, no halal meat, no muslim community. But in Iasi there are countless halal food restaruants, halal meat is widely available, we have a huge muslim community (mostly arabs but about 100 british muslim students) and a big mosque too.

You wont have any problems.

Walaikumasalaam,

That is such a relief to hear. Do you think that Iasi would be my best option in Romania then?
Also did you apply through an agency or independently.

Aeysha :)

I applied through agency. Its the best way in my opinion, because they do all the running around for you and save you the time and hassle. I have private messaged you with my contact details if you want to discuss further.
