I am currently an IB student and I want to study medicine in preferably London, or otherwise Scotland or Cardiff. However, all of the med schools I am currently looking at want you to have a 6 in HL chemistry. I do not know if this will be possible for me, but I am determined to do medicine and refuse to just give up. Is there anyway of getting in to ANY med schools in the UK even if I do not meet these requirements. I have thought of doing a postgrad med course but from what i have read and heard, they are even more competitive to get into, and i do not want to be stuck with another unsessacary year of student debt. Does anyone know of any solutions if I do not manage to get a 6 in chemistry. Thank you very much.
