I'm not a med student, but my sister has been in and out of the hospital for months.. The doctors in our hometown are at a loss. She has all of these symptoms and they can't seem to figure out what's wrong with her.
She is a 35 year old female. She has Lupus, WPW, Sinus Tachycardia, Diverticulis, Endometriosis. The heart issues resulted in a pacemaker at 21. She's had her gallbladder removed as well as a hysterectomy.
Six months ago she went in to the hospital because she was unable to hold down solid food and drinks. Eventually, they discovered there were blockages in her intestines and stomach. They essentially did a lapband procedure and cut out the blockages of the intestines and insterted a j tube for proper nutrition. The tube fell out and the doctor said it would be fine. Fast forward to last week. Intense stomach pain started back and she was unable to eat or drink again. They found an ulcer on her stomach and are about to investigate her intestines again. However today, her eyes went all bright red and her vision is fuzzy. She now has a scalloped tongue too. They gave her an eye patch and said they would investigate further tomorrow. Does any of this sound familiar? Please help!
