You want to be a what?!

Hi guys, i'm just finishing my intern year in a hospital in Manchester. I studied graduate medicine and I previously studied pharmacy before.

I'm just wondering about my specialty, I remember a prof in college was like oh you should become a consultant in pharmacology etc. etc.

I felt like saying but i don't wanna do that!

TBH i'm much more interested in surgery but its probably the specialty that has least to do with medicines... a physician would make a much better fit.

Should i really go ahead with surgery even though other specialities would be more natural fits and use my pharmacy knowledge better? I don't want my M. pharm to count against me later on down the road.
any opinions would be great?
